The Bergen County Utilities Authority will have several Household Hazardous Waste Collections at three different locations in 2008. All sites will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. rain or shine, and residents of Bergen County can dispose of their unwanted hazardous waste at that time. Proof of residency is required. Household Hazardous Waste drop-offs will be held on the following days and locations:

Items that are not acceptable are computers, electronics, and tires. Appropriate items for collection are aerosol cans, driveway sealers, insecticides, motor oils, and lighter fluid.
