Allendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps

Ambulance Corps

Allendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps (AVAC) has served the community of Allendale and the surrounding area since 1937. We provide free, professional pre-hospital emergency care to those in medical need.

Our members come from many walks of life, all volunteers to AVAC. Whether one is a business person, accountant, nurse, lawyer, homemaker, stock broker, technology consultant, or an engineer, our community members, volunteer in order to provide medical care to our Allendale residents. Emergency medical care delivered to Allendale residents, by Allendale residents.

Training for new members is always free; uniforms and equipment is provided.  Positions are available for driver, Emergency Medical Technician or as a support for the Corps; providing specialized skill and service to support our mission. AVAC never charges for services and has a supply of crutches, wheelchairs and walkers available for our community residents to borrow if needed. We rely upon the generous support of our community residents and businesses to donate to the Corps.

We are a 501(c)3 organization and contributions are tax-deductible as provided by IRS statute. Please consider donating your time, talent or resources to support the Allendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
