Allendale offers a variety of recreational and cultural activities that cater to residents and visitors alike. 

A variety of community organizations and clubs are available for residents to join. The Community Center offers a space for meetings, card games and board games, and offers open gyms for basketball and pickleball. The Allendale Recreation Commission (ARC) also provides sports programs for children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy Crestwood Park, which features Crestwood Lake, the Red Barn, baseball, soccer and football fields, and tennis courts. Also located in town, The Celery Farm is a 107-acre freshwater wetland park open to the public during daylight hours year round.
