Crestwood Park

Facility Use

Crestwood Park is a 71 acre municipal facility located on West Crescent Avenue in Allendale. The park includes a lake with 3 beaches (Private Lake – Membership is required, please see below about registering for membership), multiple sports fields, and a barn pavilion (The Red Barn).

Crestwood Lake

All current Allendale residents are eligible to be members.  New and returning members of the lake can register by following the directions on the Registration page. Additionally, Allendale residents who are members of Crestwood Lake can sponsor up to two out-of-town families. The Allendale resident is responsible for the behavior and conduct of the family that they sponsor and will have to verify that they are sponsoring by emailing info@allendalenj.gov with the names of the family they are sponsoring.   Additionally, current residents of Ho-Ho-Kus, Saddle River, and Upper Saddle River may join without the need for sponsors at out of town membership rates.

For Crestwood Lake’s rules and regulations, please visit Rules & Regulations.

Red Barn

The Red Barn is a picnic-style barn that serves as a great location for any event or reunion. This venue is for use by Allendale residents only and is limited to 150 guests. For information on renting, visit our Red Barn page.

Parks & Fields

The primary use of Allendale’s athletic fields and recreational facilities is for the enjoyment and benefit of Allendale residents. Although intended for public athletic and recreational activities, unless closed or otherwise posted for non-use, these fields and facilities will be available for non-reserved, non-scheduled use only at certain periods and times. At other periods and times, use will be reserved and allowed only by written permission from the Borough and, for some, only after the payment of a fee.
