Recycling

Protect our water and land from pollution, while gaining revenue for our borough. Allendale receives revenue on recycled items, which go to helping maintain our green community. Additionally, the borough saves money when reducing solid waste lineage. By sharing responsibility and making small changes in our daily routines, we can make a difference.

Recycling Information

Commingled Recycling:

Curbside commingled recycling takes place on every other Thursday. On your recycling day, place your commingled recycling at your curb by 6:00 P.M the night before. Commingled recycled items can be put together in containers, no larger than 30 gallons ONLY. No Plastic Bags. See link below for further information. Please rinse all items of debris before placing them out for collection; the town gets financially penalized when items are recycled with residue and caps left on.
