Water Quality

Water Testing

Each year, numerous water samples are collected and subjected to over 1,000 tests.  These samples include organic and inorganic V.O.C.s, which are tested for natural and man-made contaminants in the treated and untreated water supply.  Other tests include bacteria, lead, and copper.  All test results are filed with the NJDEP, an agency responsible for monitoring and regulating the drinking water in New Jersey.
